An origin rooted at Domaine de Landriole
It all begins in 2016. Frédéric du Rivau, founder of Feelnets, sets up his business at Domaine Équestre de Landriole.
At that time, his wife Éléonore, a riding instructor, manages a private livery stable of over 40 horses there.
Living daily with forty horses fed unlimited hay allowed us to identify three major issues:
- Massive waste: Trampled and soiled round bales end up as bedding rather than food.
- Weight management: Too-rapid intake harms digestion and promotes excess weight.
- Respiratory health: Inhaling dust from the center of the bale causes chronic coughing, even with quality hay.
Over 10 years of testing and research for "Slow Feeding"
To address these challenges, we created the ideal hay net. Frédéric launched an intensive research and development phase directly at the Landriole site.
Shapes, materials, mesh sizes: each prototype was tested by the most demanding horses.
Our goal was threefold: uncompromising durability, lightweight handling for caretakers, and ultra-fast installation.
